This is an accountability blog for myself. I am 49 and will be 50 in January. I have just over 6 month until my birthday. I am going to spend the next 6 months working on my life, with a lot of focus on my health and fitness. I am going to be using the 12-Week year process to set and achieve my goals. There are 32 weeks between today and then. I am going to allow myself the full 36 weeks with a few days between the sets of week to achieve these goals so that I have 3 full 12 Week Cycles. Ideally, I'll be completing the 3 sessions by the end of February 2024.

The basic premise of the 12-week year process is to set a vision of where you hope to go, set the goals for your 12-week year (s), and then determine what actions/tactics you need to take to reach those goals. We are aiming for progress and not perfection. You should achieve approximately 85% of the planned actions/tactics in order to realistically meet your 12-week year goals. You hold yourself accountable using a weekly check in to take ownership of the process. If you aren't familiar with the 12-Week Year, it comes from the book 12 Week Year by Brian Moran and Michael Lennington.

I am planning my first 12 week year to launch on Friday, May 27th. I'll post more about the vision, my goals, and tactics over the next couple of days to keep me accountable. I'll also be posting my weekly score card as we move along. I hope you'll join me!
